All our dives take place within the Federal Protected Area, featuring over 30 dive sites in the Cancun National Marine Park. This destination attracts divers year after year, offering schools of snappers, barracudas, angel fish, and various species in an amazing ecosystem. Our certified instructors, with over 30 years of scuba diving experience in Cancun, are familiar with every inch of the reefs.

Drift Diving in Cancun Dive sites such as La Herradura, Grampin, Punta Negra, San Miguel, El Túnel, San Toribio, and Cuevas de Afuera lie outside the bay on the edge of the Yucatan Current.

With speeds often reaching 3 knots or higher, these reefs are perfect for drift diving. Depending on conditions, the boat may anchor, allowing for a more traditional out-and-back dive plan. Drift diving is a delightful experience, as you effortlessly float by the reef, conserving energy. With depths of around 65 feet on these sites and small groups, expect extended bottom times. Encounter coral swim-throughs, notably featured in El Túnel and Cuevas de Afuera.

Sea life in these areas includes eels, rays, nurse sharks, and the usual array of reef fish. During winter months, fortunate visitors may witness the annual migration of eagle rays.
